We finally got power back in OH, but while waiting we needed to pay bills. All the bill info was on my wife's computer in her eWallet.

I bought a generator to power Fridge, sump, septic pump, and so hooked up her PC to get to her eWallet. Her PC could not get online though as Internet was out.

So we copied her eWallet to a USB drive, moved it to my laptop that had an aircard and she was able to open it and do banking/bill pay.

Finally to backup her eWallet - just to be safe, I ran the extension cord to my WiFi router, fired up my iPhone and synced to my Laptop. Now my iPhone has her eWallet and my eWallet forever.

I need a graphic of a heart and 2 eWallets holding hands! :)

This is exactly what we have been facing for the last 3 months. The electricity goes away for 1 hours after every 3 hours or so. I have bought a UPS to prevent the productivity loses but this power supply shortage is getting form bad to worse.

Anyways I don't want to spoil the fun by wiening about my problems. Congrats on getting electricity back.

Cheers / Joe

Still no power next door in OH.... maybe by Friday :(

I love Electricity too. At least I have eWallet to keep me company. I needed an excuse to update all those backgrounds.

Hey can I borrow a 300 mile long extension cord and an outlet? :)

Ahh, the things we take for granted. I was in the middle of a project 2 weeks ago when my power went out. Talk about going bonkers. Ever been without running water for a few days? I won't even go into to that ordeal. I am thankful for modern ammenities. Glad your back.
