Glad to have the eWallet viewer on my Droid (mobile wallet access is something I have been missing since migrating away from WinMo). I hope obvious updates/enhancements are under development:

-full feature (wallet/card creation and edit as opposed to simply viewing)
-cloud based sync functionality

@Bojan: Sorry for the confusion. You just need to download the very latest Windows PC version (7.1.0.28501) from our site – you’ll see an Android option in Sync Setup then. You can get the download here: http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/ew/ew_trial.php

I’ve been an eWallet user for years. Used in on my PC and on iPod touch. I installed this on my Motorola Droid as soon as I heard of this version. But the thing gives you NO CLUE as to HOW to sync with the PC. It just looks like a barebone demo with sample cards. The menu has only two options – “About” and “Lock Wallet” (the sample wallet, that is). There is NOTHING in the Help, all the “Get Started” card says is “Build wallets in eWallet on your Windows PC and then synchronize them to this device”. But HOW? I have v7.1 on my PC, but it’s got no “Android” option in the Sync Setup. So I can only ASSUME that you’re not supposed to use WiFi (like with the iPod touch), but to connect the Android via USB, and then sync to the SD card from the PC. If I am correct, then — Was that so hard to put in the Get Started???

I’ll now buy the PC version as well, to keep my iPhone, iPad & Nexus One in sync.

Dear Ilium Team,

Great news about the Mac-Version. But I agree completely with Chris K’s statement. (Probably to no surprise as I have been complaining quite a lot lately!) This is just not good enough!

Fortunately for you, eWallet is by far the best application of its kind that I have used – in my opinion in some areas much better than 1Password, thus I am going to stick with eWallet.

I am happy to see though, that other long-time-users of eWallet are just as disappointed as I am.

Now, please get a full version of eWallet for Mac on the market so that we can ditch Windows for good!

So how long for a full version? I hate to be a jerk, but I bought eWallet when it was released for the iPhone because there was a Mac version pending.
The idea that Ilium wouldn’t release eWallet for the Mac Until It’s Done was fine for a few months… or perhaps a year. But having nothing but a prototype version two years later makes me wonder if I want to sink any more money into eWallet. I’ve preferred Ilium’s UI since my old PocketPC version, but bottom line I just need an app that works.

Sorry worked out now, need to update to latest eWallet version and then get Android option in sync set-up.
